When I spoke with Resa Gooding, we talked about how to align sales and marketing teams together in service of how customer actually buy. After all, sales and marketing teams are notorious for not getting along with each other. There’s this tension. Marketing says, “Why can’t you close deals, we send you plenty of leads.” Sales says, “We’re not getting good leads from you.” The real problem is that the buyer suffers.
